Joachim Köppen Strasbourg 2009

Two views of the ESA-Dresden radio telescope: The designer's prototype (left) and at right our instrument on the roof, after turning it upside down in order to be able to perform flux calibrations easily. The buckets filled with concrete provide the necessary weight that has withstood all windy weather sofar.
