The SRT7 applet is a simulation of the graphical user interface for Haystack's Small Radio Telescope. With the exception of a few options, it works like the real instrument and it furnishes realistic data, based on the Leiden-Argentina-Bonn survey of galactic hydrogen emission, but smoothed to the lower angular resolution of the SRT. The reaction of the controls is modeled accurately to the behaviour of a real SRT ... except that the positioning system is much faster ;-)
