By train:
Kiel can be reached by train from any large German city via "Hamburg Hauptbahnhof" where you may have to change to a local train with final destination Kiel.

By car:
Take the motorway/freeway via Hamburg (Autobahn A7), change to no. A215 at the motorway crossroad "Autobahndreieck Bordesholm".

By plane:
As some of you will arrive by plane, Hamburg Airport is the closest airport to Kiel. From there, you might take the shuttle bus "Kielius" to Kiel, which directly connects Hamburg Airport with Kiel Central Railway Station.

We have made a block reservation (15 rooms) in the Hotel Berliner Hof for one night (Feb 18 - 19, 2020). This hotel is located close to the railway station / central bus station and is also in walking distance of our meeting venue.

How to get to the workshop site from Kiel Hbf:

By bus, use lines 41/42, which leave at platform B3 in front of the main station (direction Suchsdorf/Tannenberg). The closest bus stop is "Kunsthalle".
Then turn right into the promenade "Kiellinie" at the waterfront.
The workshop venue (IBZ) is the tall red-brick building on the left after approximately 300 meters. A map can be seen here.
