Plotting SkyPipe Files
Joachim Köppen DF3GJ Kiel/Strasbourg/Illkirch May 2004
Here are the file names of data which you can load into the SkyPipePlotter
applet. Enter the full filename, then click on Read URL. Please
note that in the interest of reasonably quick operations the applet
is set to read only the first 10000 samples of each file!
- SPD/one.spd a calibration sequence (from +46 dB(kT0)
down in 5 dB steps, and a stretch of the periodic night time
interference that we experience at ISU
- SPD/two.spd a nice solar burst observed by John Rock
- SPD/three.spd George Lauffer's partly view of
the solar burst of 8 April
- SPD/four.spd our view of that burst ...
- SPD/five.spd ... and the part before that
- SPD/six.spd Our calibration steps from 1 April 2004
which were done by going down in 5 dB steps from +34 dB(kT0)
- SPD/seven.spd our view of the strong solar burst of 6 April
- SPD/eight.spd and George Lauffer's data
- SPD/nine.spd a group of solar bursts observed by John Rock,
with the raw data in red and the calibrated data in blue
- SPD/lighting.spd when we recorded this at ISU, the entire
central Germany, Poland, Czech and Slovak republics,
Austria, and Hungary were covered under thunderstorms.
All data not done by us was downloaded from the
Radio Jove Data Archive
at NASA's GSFC
