Planet Formation and Evolution 2014 - Kiel, September 8-10, 2014

Dear Colleagues,

in the tradition of very successful workshops on Planet Formation and Evolution, we are pleased to announce the 9th workshop in this series: Planet Formation and Evolution 2014. The workshop will take place at the University of Kiel during September 8-10, 2014 (new dates!).

Following the spirit of the previous very stimulating meetings, the goal of this workshop is to provide a common platform for scientists working in the fields of star and planet formation, exo-planets, astrobiology, and planetary research in general. Most importantly, this workshop is aimed at stimulating and intensifying the dialogue between researchers using various approaches - observations, theory, and laboratory studies. In particular, Students and Postdocs are encouraged to present their results and to use the opportunity to learn more about the main questions and most recent results in adjacent fields.

Contributions in form of talks and poster presentations are very welcome. We plan to focus on short presentations, posters, and discussions, beginning Monday noon (Sep 8) and ending on Wednesday afternoon (Sep 10). The number of participants is limited to about 100.

Online registration will be possible through http://www.astrophysik.uni-kiel.de/kiel2014 starting February 1, 2014.
